On Friday during period 3, all Grade 11 students will be coming down to the cafeteria for a college presentation and mini-fair.

In the presentation, students will learn about pathways for all students provided at the college level including:
trades programs
degree programs through colleges
college diploma programs
Many students are unfamiliar with the first two pathways, so this is a wonderful opportunity for students to be exposed to new post-secondary ideas and start thinking about what they want to do after high school.

We have four colleges attending:
Algonquin
St. Lawrence
Fleming
Loyalist

Since these are the closest publicly funded colleges to Lanark County geographically, they are popular post-secondary choices amongst our graduates. After the presentation, students will have an opportunity to visit booths from these schools.
